	Editorial policy and guidelines for e-News Editorial Advisory Committee The editorial policy indicators and guidelines set out below will apply to all contributions submitted for publication in the e-News. Contributors are requested to consult the policy indicators and the guidelines, and to endeavour to render their contributions into the indicated format. Contributions may take the form of articles or notes on legal developments or legal issues, including discussions of recent court cases or legislative measures, expected to be of relevant to AIPPI members. Contributions may also be in the form of news items or reports from National or Regional Groups, reflecting group activities, interaction with Governments, collaborative initiatives, etc. The length of an article or other contribution should not exceed about 600 words, and should be accompanied by a short introduction/résumé of about 100 words. The introduction/résumé will appear on the front page of the e-News edition, with a hyperlink to the main contribution. Contributors should indicate their names, city and country. This information will appear with the contribution in a standard format. Contributions which have not previously been published elsewhere are preferred. However, where a contribution which has already been published is submitted for publication in e-News, contributors are required to submit also an appropriate copyright clearance or consent. Contributions should preferably follow the house style as appears from the e-News, eg with no or few footnotes. Contributions should be in text files (eg Word or rtf files) and not in the form of pdf files. This is necessary to permit the contributions to be edited and converted into the genuine e-News format and to permit a full text search. There may be a waiting period before publication. The Editorial Team reserves the right to select contributions for publication on the basis of their potential interest to members, and to expedite publication where this is deemed necessary. The Editorial Team also reserves the right to reject contributions. Contributions may be submitted by email to enews@aippi.org
