2023 AIPPI China Youth IP Seminar was held successfully in Chongli of Hebei Province, the venue of skiing events of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games on 17-18 March 2023 with more than 110 attendees.
The long-expected in-person event, 2023 AIPPI China Youth IP Seminar was held in Chongli of Hebei Province, the venue of skiing events of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games on 17-18 March 2023 with more than 110 attendees across China, most of them are young lawyers, patent or trademark attorneys.
Mr. Lipu Tian, President of AIPPI China, addressed the audience at the Opening, which was moderated by Richard Yi Li, Secretary-General of AIPPI China.
This seminar was divided into eleven sessions covering various topics in IP, with 9 sessions in English and 2 sessions in Japanese, altogether 36 speakers participated in presentations

Two distinguished judges from the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) and two examiners from China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) were also invited to speak in English on different topics.
Lena Shen, assistant to Reporter General of AIPPI, delivered a speech at the closing and gave a brief introduction about AIPPI’s Standing Committee work, encouraging our young members to be more actively involved. Heather Lin, vice-president of AIPPI China wrapped up the meeting and expressed her gratitude to the moderators and speakers for their contribution to the Seminar. Mr. Hao Ma, former President of AIPPI, also attend the Seminar to show his support of the event.
AIPPI China organized the first Youth IP Seminar in 2014 and hosted the event every year since then providing young members an opportunity to polish their skills in delivering presentations in English or Japanese, exchanging insights on IP, and networking with fellow IP professionals.
