Aakriti Vadehra

Aakriti Vadehra is a registered Indian Patent and Trademark Attorney with a background in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. She is a Partner at Kan and Krishme, a boutique intellectual property law firm based in India. Aakriti has extensive experience in patent drafting and prosecution across a wide range of technologies, with a focus on electronic consumer goods, communication protocols including Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), and IoT-based innovations. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she represented her university in the USPTO Patent Drafting Competition and was part of the winning team for the East Coast region. Her cross-jurisdictional training provides her with a deep understanding of both Indian and U.S. patent systems. In addition to her patent practice, Aakriti plays a leading role in the firm’s Advertising and Marketing Law Department and is an active member of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA). She routinely advises clients on sweepstakes, promotions, and contests, such as influencer marketing, native advertising, comparative and bait advertising, puffery, surrogate advertising, celebrity and expert endorsements, and advertisements aimed at children. She is passionate about enhancing IP awareness in India and regularly works with Indian businesses to help them recognize the value of securing and strategically leveraging their IP assets. Büşra Bıçakcı

Büşra Bıçakcı, Senior Associate at Deriş. She has significant experience in contracts and negotiations, intellectual property, copyright,know-how and technology transfer, advertising and media – entertainment law, while she is also a qualified trademark attorney.

Büşra’s perspective is to bring together the law and expectations of commercial life. She has represented many leading companies for years in different areas

Instead of just applying legal rules, she helps to combine business and law in a way ensuring companies can both easily progress and be protected. In that regard, she has contributed to fundamental projects and supported business developments.

Thomas Baetens

Thomas Baetens is a senior associate at CO & DELARUE in Antwerp, Belgium. Thomas joined the firm as an IP litigator in 2019, then continued his career in another Belgian IP boutique firm in 2021 and rejoined CO & DELARUE in 2025. Thomas has a knack for high-level copyright, design and trademark cases, both in an offline and online environment. He is also well versed in cases involving unfair market practices. Since 2024, Thomas works as a teaching assistant at the Centre for IT & IP Law of the KU Leuven. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in the IP Stars ranking of Managing IP. Thomas is a member of BMM, ECTA and AIPPI. Since 2025, he serves as a member of BMM’s Young BMM Committee.

Domingos Ng

Domingos Ng holds an LLB from the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of Lisbon and a Master’s degree in IP Law from the University of Macau. He is currently an associate IP executive at IPSOL Agency Ltd. (C&C Group) in Macau. He has nearly four years of experience handling day-to-day IP operations, crafting tailored IP strategies for clients, liaising with government IP departments, and delivering professional IP solutions. His areas of interest include cross-border IP collaboration and the role of Macau as a bridge in IP ecosystems. Also, he handles litigation in the Macau courts and the Trademark Office in relation to IP cases such as infringement or unfair competition.

Manika Arora

Manika Arora is an Associate Partner at Lall & Sethi, a leading intellectual property law firm in India. She is an Attorney at Law and a registered Patent Agent with over 10 years of experience in IP law. Manika holds an M.Tech. in Biotechnology and an LL.B. (Hons.) in Intellectual Property Rights from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Her professional expertise lies in patent prosecution, oppositions, enforcement, and litigation, with a strong focus on emerging technologies in life sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, and chemistry. She has represented clients before Indian Patent Offices, High Courts, and the Supreme Court, and advised global corporations on IP portfolio strategy, freedom-to-operate, and lifecycle management. Manika’s technical foundation stems from her early research at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, where she worked on apoptosis-related genes in Drosophila melanogaster. Isha Sharma

Isha Sharma is a distinguished legal and intellectual property expert with over 15 years of experience in IPR, patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, IP valuation, and commercialization. She holds advanced qualifications including M.Tech, B.Tech, LLB, LLM, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property, and is a Registered Patent Agent (PA No. IN/PA/2386). Vanessa Halle-Fonguh is a Cameroon-based Attorney, exercising her practice at NICO HALLE & Co. LAW FIRM in Douala, Cameroon.  As a Partner and accredited IP Attorney at the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), she heads up the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice.  Vanessa was called to the Bar of England & Wales (by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn) in 2011, and the Cameroon Bar in 2013.

She has experience in advising businesses/stakeholders in the following industries: Agribusiness; Fintech; Healthcare & Life Sciences; Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure; Luxury, Fashion & Beauty; Media, Sports & Entertainment, Natural Resources (Oil & Gas, Power, Energy, Mining & metals), Small & Medium Sized Enterprises; Transport (Shipping & Maritime, Aviation, Roads); and Telecommunications.

Pierre Trusson

Pierre Trusson has joined the French firm JP KARSENTY & Associés in 2018 as an associate in intellectual and intangible property, after having practiced in French and international law firms recognized in rankings for their expertise.

Pierre assists French and foreign clients in drafting their contracts and advises them in negotiations with their partners and with administrative authorities.

He has developed a strong expertise in litigation before the courts, particularly in matters of patent, trademark and advertising law, but also in judicial expertise. He has also worked for cases involving complex and multi-party litigation, with a high degree of analysis.

Pierre also assists French and foreign clients before the civil and criminal courts in their anti-counterfeiting activities, after having worked for a leading international firm in the field of sports equipment.

Tilmann Künzl

Tilmann Künzl is a Partner at VOSSIUS and a qualified European and Swiss Patent Attorney. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from ETH Zurich and brings experience in patent prosecution and opposition before the European Patent Office, as well as in proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Tilmann regularly advises clients on freedom-to-operate analyses and due diligence matters, supporting innovative businesses in navigating complex IP landscapes. His practice focuses on patents and designs, particularly on the development of technical opinions, and substantive examination in chemical and manufacturing areas. He has collaborated in Mendez Cortes SC for more than 14 years.

In his professional practice he has collaborated on major metallurgical and chemical enterprises in Mexico, in quality control and innovation of new products as well as their rights protection.

Idalla Brum

Idalla is a founding partner at Msantos Propriedade Intelectual, as well as a qualified Attorney and Industrial Property Agent. She holds a Law degree from Faculdade Santo Antônio de Pádua (FASAP), with a specialization in Civil Procedural Law and Legal Argumentation from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUCMG), and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). She also has a strong interest in Digital Law, Law and Technology, iGaming, Privacy, and Data Protection.

Idalla is an active member of several committees within OABRJ, INTA, ASIPI, and AIPPI, contributing to discussions on diversity, trademarks, legislation, and regulation. She is also affiliated with leading professional associations in the field, including ABPI, ABAPI, FICPI, among others. Recently, she was appointed as an Auditor of the 3rd Disciplinary Commission of the Sports Court of Indoor Football of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

In 2024, she was recognized as one of INTA’s Rising Stars for 2023–2024, and in 2025, she was listed as a “Leading Individual” in the Brazil ranking by the World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR1000).

José Antonio Fabara Jarrín

José Antonio has more than 10 years of experience in law, focusing his professional practice in the areas of sports, entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property law.

He currently leads the sports and entertainment law practice at BUSTAMANTE FABARA.

His specialization in sports matters, both in law and management, has allowed him to provide comprehensive advice to athletes, clubs, federations, event organizers, agencies, sponsors, and other actors involved in sports in the development of their projects.

Ahmed Elmallah
