Helsinki IP Summit

The Finnish AIPPI Group, in collaboration with the IPR University Center, is organizing the Helsinki IP Summit on 23-24 October 2025.
The Helsinki IP Summit is a two-day intellectual property congress aimed at IP professionals, business leaders, startups, law students, and IP researchers. The event offers a fantastic opportunity to explore current IPR phenomena, hear success stories, learn from top IP experts, and of course, meet and network with IP professionals from around the world.
The Summit will feature presentations from esteemed speakers from both the business and academic sectors, and key themes will include, among others,
- IPRs in the current geopolitical situation
- emerging technologies and protection,
- AI and IPR,
- the role of sustainable development from IPR perspective,
- how intellectual property contributes to business competitiveness,
- case studies on building sustainable and profitable businesses through IPR,
- fashion law, greenwashing, upcycling and cultural heritage and IPR,
- patent-related themes, licensing, and branding.
The Finnish AIPPI Group will co-host one of the program streams on the second day of the event (Friday, October 24), with the central theme focusing on intellectual property rights in a changing world and geopolitical landscape.
The Helsinki IP Summit offers both in-person and online participation. Attend live at the Paasitorni Congress Center in Helsinki or join the conversation virtually via live stream. The event will be held in English. Registration for live event no later than 3 October 2025.
