Intersection of IP and Traditional Knowledge – how TCEs and Cultural Heritage are protected – Indian, Romanian and Mexican perspective webinar

26 March 2026 - 26 March 2026 | Webinar | AIPPI

Traditional knowledge is something that we all have, and we all agree that it should be protected. But how to protect something that is so vague and hard to capture? Traditional IP institutions are usually not sufficient to provide protection on the desired level. Thus, different regions try to work on their own methods and instruments foreseen to protect traditional knowledge of their habitants. For this webinar we will get to know national approaches of India, Romania and Mexico to protect local Traditional Cultural Expressions and Cultural Heritage.
