Brigitte Carion‑Taravella is a European and French Patent Attorney with over 25 years of experience in IP strategy, patent prosecution, and IP rights management in the life sciences sector. She currently part of the IP leadership team at Sanofi and contributes to EU patent policy and oversees cross‑border patent teams.
With a PhD in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Intellectual Property Law, Brigitte combines strong scientific expertise with legal acumen. Her career spans R &D, patent leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries (Besins Healthcare, Chanel Parfums Beauté and Sanofi), and active involvement in leading IP organizations, reflecting her commitment to shaping innovation and IP practices.
