Mami Hino, Abe Ikubo & Katayama, Japan
Mami Hino is a Partner at Abe Ikubo & Katayama, a full-service law firm based in Tokyo.
She is a highly qualified professional, holding credentials as a Patent Attorney and a Registered Pharmacist in Japan. She also holds a J.D. degree and is admitted to the New York Bar.
Ms. Hino possesses extensive experience representing clients in cross-border litigation across all variations of technology. Her practice also focuses on advising innovative pharmaceutical companies to secure and enforce their patents.
Committed to promoting equality in the field, she has been a founding member of the DE&I Committee of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), and also serves as a member of the DE&I Committee of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
Ulla Allgayer, Alpspitz IP Allgayer und Partner, Patentanwälte PartG mbB, Germany
Dr. Ulla Allgayer graduated from Technical University of Munich, Germany, in mechanical engineering with focus on aerospace engineering. Her studies were supported by the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes). Thereafter, she completed a PhD. in the field of fluid dynamics at the Technical University of Munich on the topic of “Supersonic combustion in compressible shear layers”.
Following her PhD., Ulla started her training for patent attorney at a Munich law firm and obtained her professional qualifications as German Patent Attorney and European Trademark and Design Attorney in 2002 and as European Patent Attorney in 2003. In 2006 she completed postgraduate studies of European Intellectual Property at the Fernuniversität Hagen with the degree LL.M. and the advanced training “Leadership in Law Firms” at Harvard University, Boston.
Admitted to practice as German and European patent, trademark and design attorney and as a professional representative before the Unified Patent Court, Ulla represents national and international clients in intellectual property matters for many years before the German Patent- and Trademark Office (GPTO), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the German Federal Patent Court (BPatG), the German High Court (BGH) and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Ulla worked as senior partner in a medium-sized Munich based law firm and is now founding partner of Alpspitz IP. Further, Ulla is an active member of AIPPI’s D&I Committee, AIPF’s Boutique Practice Committee and further member of FICPI, epi, the German Patent Attorney’s Chamber and women-in-ip.
Idalla Brum, Msantos, Brazil
Idalla Brum is the Founding Partner of Msantos Intellectual Property, a Brazilian IP law firm, and a trademark attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property matters in Brazil and internationally. She holds a Law Degree from FASAP, a specialization in Civil Procedural Law and Legal Argumentation from PUC Minas, and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). Active in organizations such as AIPPI and INTA, she currently serves as Chair of the Latin America & Caribbean Subcommittee of INTA’s Legislation and Regulation Committee and has been a member of AIPPI’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee since its creation. Recognized as one of INTA’s Rising Stars (2023–2024) and as a WTR 1000 Leading Individual in Brazil (2025/2026), Idalla combines her professional experience with her personal perspective as a caregiver to discuss the intersection of caregiving, diversity, inclusion, mental health, and career development.

Twenty-five years of direct experience supporting older adults, persons with disabilities, and caregivers serve as Wilson’s platform for virtual and on-site consulting, education, and support for aging adults and their families. Wilson offers comprehensive and practical advice for families navigating family dynamics, health, healthcare, the financial costs of care, and legal responsibilities.
