2025 AIPPI World Congress Briefing Concludes Successfully

On the afternoon of 20 June, the first briefing for the 2025 AIPPI World Congresshosted by Shanghai Intellectual Property Services Association (SIPSA) and supported by AIPPI China—was successfully livestreamed on SIPSA’s official WeChat Video Channel, attracting over 300 attendees.

The event was moderated by Ms. Zhou FANG, Secretary-General of SIPSA. Mr. Xiaojun GUO, Secretary-General of AIPPI China, delivered an opening speech introducing AIPPI’s history, organizational structure, key initiatives, and flagship programs, while encouraging greater participation from Chinese IP professionals in global exchanges.

The briefing featured expert insights on three key themes:

• Youth Development – Ms. Jingfang QIAN, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Patent & Trademark Law Office, shared how AIPPI helps young professionals broaden their perspectives and build international networks.
• Enhancing Global Competence – Mr. Xiaobo YING, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Kesheng Intellectual Property Agency, highlighted AIPPI’s role in advancing cross-border case analysis and service innovation.
• Congress Participation Strategies – Mr. Qing HUANG, Partner at Shanghai Beshining Law Office, offered practical tips on registration, engagement, and networking at AIPPI World Congresses.

A live demonstration of the AIPPI membership and congress registration process was provided, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

This briefing served as a valuable platform for Shanghai’s IP professionals to gain deeper insights into AIPPI’s global events, further driving the internationalization of China’s IP industry.
