On 4 November 2025, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Justice signed a memorandum of understanding with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to collaborate on the publication of judicial rulings related to intellectual property.
The agreement seeks to make IP judgments publicly available and to promote the exchange of judicial knowledge and best practices. It underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to transparency and to reinforcing the legal framework that governs IP protection and enforcement.
For rights holders, this initiative will provide deeper insight into how Saudi courts interpret and apply IP laws across trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Access to published rulings is expected to enhance predictability, support informed litigation strategies, and facilitate more effective management of IP portfolios within the Kingdom.
