Our annual commitment to a scientifically strict resolution process, drawing on the expertise of IP professionals from a wide range of geographical and cultural backgrounds and legal traditions, aims to develop and improve laws relating to the protection of intellectual property internationally.
At the 2023 AIPPI World Congress in Istanbul, five Resolutions were adopted.
- Patents – Doctrine of Equivalents
- Trade Marks – Proving Trade Mark Use
- Copyright – Collecting Societies
- General – Responsibility of Online Marketplaces for Online Infringement of Industrial Property Rights
- Standing Committee on Pharma Resolution – Experimental Use and Bolar-type Exemptions
